Why can't I view my own profile? And my friend's too?

You know how when you visit someone's Private myspace page (who isn't on your friend's list), it shows you only a picture and towards the bottom in a yellow box it says "This profile is set to private. This user must add you as a friend to see his/her profile. "

Why is my own profile displaying like this to me? I'm logged in, I'm clicking View My Profile. Also it does this with many of my friend's profiles. I can't see their pages even though they are on my friend's list. But if you click their picture, it still lets you see their pictures without any problems.

And also, where the banner advertisements at the top are.....when the page is loading up (any link that is still myspace), there is a banner for University of Phoenix or whatever but then is replaced by ads for Adult Friend Finder so basically I have porn at the top of every page when ever I'm on myspace.

What is going on?!?!
