Question by Countess Jodhaa Bai: Is it true the Jewish community has its own internal match-making service?
I was watching the film, Arranged, and I noticed an elderly lady was assigned to find a mate for the Jewish girl.
Is this a common practice among the Jewish faith?

I'm not sure you'll find anyone in a modern Jewish community that follows this tradition.
We choose our spouses just like anyone else.
