Whether 10 identical fluorescent lamp in parallel glow with same brightness?

Question by : Whether 10 identical fluorescent lamp in parallel glow with same brightness?
If ten identical fluorescent lamp are connected in parallel across a single source, will all the lamp glow with same brightness? Theoretically all should glow at same brightness as the voltage across each lamp is same. By any chance whether there is a voltage drop across say lamp # 8,9 and 10 and these lamps glow less bright compared to lamp # 1

Answer by billrussell42If you use heavy enough wire, the voltage will be virtually the same across each. But with marginal wiring, there could be a voltage difference. Wire code allows up to 5% drop. To calculate your drop, you would need to provide a lot more detail.

But the same voltage doesn't mean the brightness will be identical. There are always variations from unit to unit, no two things are ever identical. If they are different manufacturers or different lot numbers, that would indicate more variation.

I'd expect at least
