How easy would it be to connect two PSUs to a single pc?

Question by Jay: How easy would it be to connect two PSUs to a single pc?
What i am wanting to find out is how could i accomplish connecting both PSUs ac and dc to a motherboard for use in a house or car. Is there some sort of switch out there? or Y connectors for connecting the psus to the motherboard? Email me if you need a better explanation. Theoretically I would love to have ac and dc psus mounted in a case and hooked to the board and drives. Upon turning on the ac source the ac psu would kick in and visa veersa for dc. Any suggestions?

Answer by s aIt could be done, but you'd need to create a custom circuit to isolate the two power supplies.

If your goal is to run a computer in your car, why not buy an inverter (produces line voltage in your car)..
