How is the singles scene in Tampa, Florida (for a 22-year-old guy)? Is it easy to find single girls?

Question by Pat N: How is the singles scene in Tampa, Florida (for a 22-year-old guy)? Is it easy to find single girls?
I saw online that it was ranked last place out of the 40 biggest U.S. cities in number of singles, does that mean that it's family-oriented and not a good place for younger people around college age and that it's hard to pick up/find singles at clubs, parties, events, etc?
