how do i connect a single voice coil subwoofer to the inside of a box that has a binding post?

Question by Kyle S: how do i connect a single voice coil subwoofer to the inside of a box that has a binding post?
I recently bought 1-12w3v3 jl sub powered by a jl tma 500watt mono amp. I would like to know how to correctly secure the wires to the inside screw terminal type fitting on the inside. should i use the same size wire going from both - and + terminal on the back of the sub??

Answer by occularis infernumyes, 10 to 14 gauge fine woven copper would be the best! wont really matter if you go from a smaller gauge to a larger gauge as the resistance will be limited by the length from the amp to the box, shortest possible lengths of wire with the with the largest (and still stay mechanically secured) gauge wire.
