Question by April: Why is it married peoples insurance is higher then singles insurance?
Im doing this for a project. Ive researched and done quotes for singles and married couples and i cant think why a married couples would be more. Any ideas?

Answer by johnsimplest answer ... there are two people being insured not one. The rate does not double to cover married couple. So the single is the most expensive rate.
