or you could search by school/uni work place or whatever and choose the year and you should be able to find some people you know. from there add them or just look at thier friends to see if you can find who you are looking for. or just look on who you have already and thier friends and see if they are on there. hope this helped x

Hello a confused novice here. I have a 230v (single phase 60hz) air compressor I want to connect to my shop. The breaker box has three main cables connected to the line of breakers, so I think its three phase. There is also a common or neutral strip to the side of the box. I checked the voltages with a meter and any combination of two of the leads gives me 208v. The voltage of any of the breakers gives me about 117v. My motor has two wires, a white and black.
My question is, can I connect the two wires from the motor to the circuit breaker on the same phase? That would give me about 236v single phase. Will this harm the motor? I heard it might struggle on start up and eventually burn out. I'm at a loss because I've been reading and hearing all types of answers. Hope this is clear and thanks in advance!

Your subwoofer is un-powered and is essentially a motor. You use speaker wire to hook this up.

And if you try to run speaker wire in the walls - you need in-wall rated speaker wire to satisfy fire code.

If you have a real AV receiver with a subwoofer output jack that is an RCA - buy a self-powered sub and then you can use your in-wall coax.

Apply the stain of your choice according to manufacturers specs, let it dry for a sufficient length of time, then cover with a clear sealer of you choice (Varnish, Laquer, or shellac). Once the sealer is dry to the touch get out a small paint brush and several colors of stain close to the color that you desire and paint the stain onto the spots that you need to

I just need to find some way to make it match the rest of the wood as I stain the exterior. Some of the football patterns dont match the wood color will it stain the same??

Answer by godfatherYou cut off part of the question, which I am assuming was a circuit breaker with a maximum current. But I'll solve it with the maximum current = i, that will trip the circuit breaker. N is the number of parallel light bulbs to trip the breaker.

N*100 = 150 * i

N = (150*i)/100

So just plug in the maximum current value you want in for (i), and calculate number of bulbs.

I'm having a party, and i have a whole mess of different types of chairs. Whats a quick, cheap, and easy way to make them all match?

Answer by RSJI really wouldn't worry about having mismatched chairs- it kind of adds to the charm. And if you're talking about a lot of chairs- then people aren't going to expect all the chairs to match. They make chair covers that are really pretty- but they're kind of pricey at -20 each. I've bought some at Bed Bath and Beyond. Is there a way for you to make several groupings? That way, you can put some chairs together that match or go together. Groupings work for most parties- mix up the group sizes. Conversations are easier in groupings.

Answer by RmaxYou cant host public matches, it runs on a server. You go to multiplayer menu and invite your friends to a private match. I honestly have run into the hest ended match occasion, but I dont know what that is about.

I have just started this year and I always seem to lose,
I think I have a good serve,volley and forehand .. when I get it right :P.

A good goal for you is to stay on the move and be in the absoulute best position to hit the ball when it comes to you, so you're ready. Play with confidence and use topspin. I have a 3-phase motor running a planer. At our house we only have single phase 220v power. The person selling the planer also supplied an additional 3-phase motor, and a bank of capacitors and said it was possible to simulate 3-phase with some arrangement of this extra equipment.

I have one cable running up to my second floor bedroom and just upgraded to Directv HD DVR and with two inputs it can tape 2 shows or tape and watch 2 different shows if you have 2. I am told a standard splitter will not work with Directv. Is there something else you can use that is compatible with Directv?

I just bought some Dentek temporary fillings to cover up my cavities. They're working great so far, except for one thing - they're too white! They don't match the rest of my teeth, which makes them extremely noticeable when I smile. I hope to someday make my teeth that white, but in the meantime, is there anything I can do to make the fillings a little more yellow, or at least off-white? Would food coloring work, for example?

Answer by grandpa walleyeTemporary fillings come in one very white shade and are not meant to be cosmetic. They are meant to only last a week or two until something permanent can be done. You need to look at having them replaced with bonded composite tooth shaded fillings. Forget the crazy idea of food coloring and if you are concerned about your appearance, then get them repaired properly.

I know there's an adapter available (I've seen them at K-Mart, Radio Shack, etc.) where one end connects to a single cable input jack on older TV's and the other ends have regular Audio/Video inputs like most current TV's & VCR's. I just can't remember what these type of adapters are called. Please help!

Answer by hfmgr06They're called RF adaptors or RF modulators, If you have more than one device you're hooking up, you could go with a video selector, it will have multiple plug-ins and some of the models (more expensive ones) will also have an RF modulator built into it. For an RF adaptor you're looking at about , for the video selector -40

I hope to raise money for things like automobile modifications, wheelchair accessible bathroom, ramps, etc. I just don't know if I do this, will it adversely affect the person receiving the "gift" of charity?
