How do I store the whole chat archive to a disk at once?

Question by Ms.M.: How do I store the whole chat archive to a disk at once?
In the interest of saving lots of time I'd like to save my entire Yahoo Messenger chat archive to a disk w/o having to copy or load each individual chat friend or chat date. Does anyone know how to make this happen? Mostly I only care to do this before upgrading to Messenger 10 without losing my previous chats from version 9, to be safe.

Answer by r0cksterYour archived messages are already saved on your hard drive, they are Not stored on the yahoo servers. Upgrading to version 10 will not make you loose your archived messages either.

Here is how to get to them though.

Click the Start Button > My Computer>C:drive>Program Files>Yahoo>Messenger>Profiles>(Your Name)>Archive>Messages.

Inside the messages folder will be a list of all the people you have had conversations with.

If you wanted to you could drag and drop the whole messages folder to your desktop and then return it after you
