Question by Janese: What is the deal with the coffee houses? Is it a pick up spot for singles?
My friend has been dating a guy that insists that he must do all of his work at a coffee shop. He does freelance work. He will sit at a given handful of shops for hours and "work". Late in the evening also. I told her I find this suspect. It sounds like he is there to pick up women. She says he can concentrate better in the coffee shop, he lives alone, why not at home? What's the deal guys? Anyone work exclusively in a coffee house as opposed to home? Why?

Answer by MendonisSome people focus better when in that type of environment. However, a coffee shop is a GREAT place to meet women (or anything for that matter).
I wouldn't come down on the guy, just because he's at a coffee shop doesn't mean he's trying to meet women.
