Question by Kimberly R: Does an employee have legal rights against an employer who singles him out to do the undesirable tasks?
Can an employer single out a worker, who does an excellent job at work, to perform all the extra tasks everyone else refuses to do. Basically all the other employees get to go home while this employee stays to clean everything alone. This is not his regular job and it is only because the employer won't inforce the jobs on the other employees who refuse. This worker is just a good worker who does an excellent job that the other workers cannot compare to. But now this worker is also refusing, is there any laws protecting him?
