Question by redhygog: Help connecting a portable TV without input jacks?
Okay, I have a Sony Watchman FD-10A which is a cute little T.V that reeks of nostalgia. My issue is it also lacks a simple input jack. I know very well how to hook up a variety of devices using standard jacks so don't even bother asking me "if I looked for RCA jacks, or a line-in jack via a 1.8" plug". The issue at hand is that my little T.V has an antenna and frankly that's it. So I was curious if there was any way I could modify a 300-ohm or 75-ohm connector to just aligator clip onto the antenna? In the past I've been able to connect a VCR using a single wire stuck into the lead of a 75ohm coax jack. So I know that the ground isn't entirely necessary. It's just that I don't yet understand the type of signal my little TV receives with just one antenna? Is it an unbalanced 300ohm, or a 75ohm?
I have looked into alternatives such as Analog transmission boxes which can transmit a signal for me to
